The Freedom of the City of Dundee in the First Class was bestowed on the following men on 18th February 1901, with all and sundry liberties, privileges, and immunities thereto belonging in recognition of their Patriotism in volunteering for Active Service in the South African War, and their names are recorded in Lockit Book of Burgesses of the City and Royal Burgh of Dundee, as well as in the Council Minute Book. |
