They say everybody has fifteen minutes of fame . . .

.  .  . we'll settle for fifteen seconds!  The left clipping is from the Dundee Courier & Advertiser newspaper for 25th May 2000.
The second is from The Press & Journal of the following date.

The usual caveat in such cases, 'don't believe everything you read in the newspapers', applies, but most of the article bears some resemblance to the facts!

from the Press & Journal

The work on the OPR is by A.H. in Canada; the 'grave-yarding' or site visits, carried out by Mr. and Mrs. M.N. of Monifieth.

The first original computer file which was by the late, Don Smith of Forfar.  Don also assisted in the original comparison of the two principle sources of the information, viz. W. D. Chisholm's list and the Scottish Genealogical Society publication.  The file was passed to M.N who resurveyed the yard and prepared the information collected for subsequent publication by TVFHS.

The OPR and other 'improvements' are added later.

The information will be updated or corrected as required.

All thanks are due to those who have been involved with this task.
